With 75+ student clubs and organizations on campus, events happening every week and plenty of ways to get involved, there is always something to do at SUNY Plattsburgh! Join a club, catch a live event, try a DIY activity or take a trip with your friends. There's something for everyone — you just have to find what's right for you!
Check Out What’s Happening
There is always a variety of events happening on campus and we work hard to make sure there is something for everyone! Join your friends — or make new ones! — for events like:
- Social activities and campus traditions
- DIY projects and crafts you can make and take home
- Live entertainment, including musicians, comedians, game shows and bingo
- Fan Zone events supporting Cardinal athletics
- Off-campus trips and adventures
In the fall, we send multiple buses to FrightFest at the Great Escape and in the spring, join us at Titus Mountain for Neon Light Night Tubing. Most campus events are free for students while some trips and special events may require registration or a ticket.
Involvement Fair
Want to try out a bunch of clubs and meet your fellow students? Come to our Involvement Fair! The second Friday of each semester we host an Involvement Fair for all clubs and organizations, fraternity and sorority life and recreational sports from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Amitie plaza or the ballrooms. This is a great way to see what we offer and get involved.
Leadership Opportunities
The Activities Coordination Board (ACB) helps plan events for campus and we love when students have ideas for future events. Have an idea you’d love to see? Come to an ACB meeting and help shape what's happening on campus.
The ACB meets Wednesdays at noon on the 3rd floor of the Angell College Center.
Stay in the Know
Cardinal Link is the one-stop shop for campus events and student involvement. Check the events calendar regularly, join groups, register for events and purchase tickets all in one place. Or, if you are in the ACC, stop by the student engagement office or the Student Association to connect and learn more.
